Breakfast on Hold
18' x 32' x 10' Foam, resin, wood, paint, ceramic, egg 2006
In this installation, a room seems to have been suddenly rotated sideways. A Styrofoam table, is partially crumpled onto the floor – or what now seems to be the floor – along with a warped ceramic plate. Despite the evidence of recent kinetic force, an egg rests upright and intact as the installation aims to explore the experience of shifting perceptions.
