Stephanie Aitken

Stephanie Aitken is a Vancouver based artist. Recent exhibitions include The Daily Grind at Museum London, London Ontario, Black Diamond Dust at the Nanaimo Art Gallery and Drama of Perception at Deluge Contemporary Art, Victoria, British Columbia. Recent one-person exhibitions include Breathing Machines at Field Contemporary Art in Vancouver and New Land Paintings at Deluge Contemporary Art. Stephanie’s work has been written about and published in The Walrus, Canadian Art, The Vancouver Review, The Vancouver Sun, C Magazine and Border Crossings. In 2013 Stephanie designed three limited edition rugs based on recent paintings, produced in the Kathmandu Valley in wool and silk. Stephanie teaches drawing and painting at Langara College in Vancouver.
